OK, so you arranged to let Jared put up the college football pools when none of the CL's had time. But now he's not updating the results. I've tagged him several times on MSN to remind him, but he either says he'll do it later or ignores my messages. Anyway, could someone please update the pool from week 12, and actually now it's time to do week 1's update too and give out points for whoever got the most correct.
Some of us are serious about our college football pools, so please take us seriously or just drop the damn thing altogether. Dont keep getting our hopes up and letting us down.
yes, becky it's sad how slack the cl's are geting these days. i am friends with most of them, so I'm not bad mouthing them. I realize they all have lifes outside of the zone. But, it's getting to where nothing is being done around here anymore and you never see any of them logged in. i hardly ever log in and have gotten really bored of the zone myself, and sick of all the drama. but, that's exactly why I never went for cl. If they have gotten bored of it, and I could see how they could get sick of the bitching on here. then they need to step down and let someone that isn't as occupied and not as burnt out on the site do it. Dan got to this point and stepped down because he knew he was bored of it and wasn't on as much as the zone needed him to be. I think others should follow in his foot steps. My rant is over, I'll step off my soap box now. hehehehe

Hahahaha, Margorp. I noticed that, too. But Becky has a good point. Why have sports pools if no one is going to keep them updated?
Yeah, I understand being busy, but don't commit to something if you can't do it. And I really just would like one of the CL's to remind Jared that this is his job now and that we'd like the past results updated.

LOL Shea. People with short attention spans have trouble sticking to the intended topic of a post and end up making fun of someone's mistakes.
Aren't any CL's going to address this issue? All I'm asking is that someone remind Jared what he promised to do.
I realise I haven't been updating the results and am sorry. It's exam time at school so haven't had time to. I will update hte passed two pools over thanksk giving, but as long as I'm able to get the pools opened I don't see a problem if for two weeks out of the season I'm slow at putting the results up as long as the games are up.
OK Jared, Thanksgiving weekend is nearly over, so why aren't the college pools from the past three weeks updated yet?
Okay, I've sent it up to the cl mailing list suggesting a backup for Jared.
Uhm. I know nothing about football. But if there's a central location where I can get the info that someone can tell me, I'll try to update it. (though I might need some explanations on what it all means.)
Could you get the scores from a place like Tell Me and update them that way?
I'll try and get to this sometime today, although I haven't had time either. I update my NFL pools, but to be honest, haven't looked at the college football pools. Next week is the last week of classes, so I have lots of final projects due then. I also have finals week after that. I try to keep up with the responsibilities I've taken on here, and the reason why I haven't taken on more is because I know I can't handle them. So if no one gets to this by early next week, I'll deffinitley get to it by then. I think espn.com or ncaa.com would have the results from previous weeks.
Any of us can look up the scores, but someone on zonebbs staff has to give the 50000 points to the zoner who gets the most correct. My whole point in continuing to complain about this is not to pick on you, Scott, as I know you are busy. But Jared apparently volunteered to keep up with this, and now he is too busy. Why can't someone who will actually have time to do this take it on?
Totally agreed. It's best that we keep stuff updated so that us football fans can have fun.
OK. Weeks 14 and 13 are done. I'll get to what's left tomorrow or tuesday.

Ok, the college backdated pools are all up to date and points awarded.
Week 15 is posted and is worth 100000 points since several of the games are confrence championship games. Thanks for updating the old pools SingerOfSongs.
